All of this is why we at Telia Company participate in initiatives to increase diversity, bring in young digital natives and thereby rejuvenate our company. Diversity Challenge

Diversity Challenge Program is set up to give some of Sweden’s largest employers as well as candidates with high qualifications and a multicultural background the opportunity to gain valuable experience from each other. Participating companies identify positions for internship, projects or permanent positions. Candidates can either apply for the program in general or apply to a specific company and/or internship. All candidates are welcome to apply regardless of your academic background!


Tekniksprånget (the technological leap)

Tekniksprånget offers young students internship with some 100 of Sweden’s largest employers. Telia in Sweden will during the spring offer internships to six students. Besides giving the students a better knowledge of Telia Company as an employer, we hope to inspire them to choose to undertake training to become engineers.

Our aim is to inspire more young people to study engineering and develop an interesting career in the technological forefront, give our employees the possibility to try out and develop their leadership skills and to be able to continue to build our position as the New Generation Telco.

Womentor is a tool to support companies in the ICT sector who wants to increase the number of female leaders. The purpose is to increase the business and companies ability to attract and keep the best talents, both men and women.

This year Johanna Berlinde, manager at Telia Company, was awarded the Womentor Prize for her continuous work to coach women into leading positions. At Telia Company, she raised the number of female employees at her department Telia Company´s TV and Entertainment from 10 to 60 %.

Women In Tech’s mission is to inspire talented women to consider a future in media and technology by providing the network and experience of successful women and men from the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds.
