"Machines don’t network. People do." TeliaSonera’s Anders Trana about the 2013 M2M meet-up.

It’s time for the #M2MSymposium again - last year’s successful gathering of people and companies devoted to the machine-to-machine development of technology and business.

Like last year, we will be focusing on what we can do with this technology and learn from the world leaders in this field. Personally, I am thrilled to see what a company like Tesla Motors has contributed with during this past year. Did you know for example that Tesla Motors has a SIM-card in-car wireless system service where not only the driver can stay connected to the internet, but the company’s engineers can follow how the car performs and see enhancement opportunities?

A part from Tesla Motors, Ericsson, Oracle and GE will share insights and experiences from their M2M initiatives and there will also be breakout sessions covering sectors like energy, field services, security, manufacturing, transport and logistics. A special track focuses on the different tools needed in order to take M2M from idea to reality. And there will be lots of people to meet, exchange ideas with and get inspired by.

I hope that you will join us at the M2M Symposium and participate in the development of M2M! I will report on some of the things that take place during the symposium, and I hope to meet as many of you as possible there.

The M2M Symposium takes place November 13, 2013 at Münchenbryggeriet in Stockholm.

Anders Trana is responsible for innovation and business development at the TeliaSonera M2M department. At the M2M Symposium he will meet with clients and peers in all fields of industry to get inspired and make connections for the future development of M2M in TeliaSonera:

- Our challenge is to connect all things in the world and I know that a lot of this is happening in the motor industry for the moment, so I am curious about what industry will follow in the next couple of years.
