"Have a responsibility"
Wendt participated in the seminar to describe how Telia Company works with children’s rights and children online as an integral part of the company strategy. She mentioned that a third of the world's internet users are children.

“As a telecom operator we have a responsibility to protect children in the online world we provide for them. We also work actively in cooperation with others to educate children in ICT-related subjects, to increase general knowledge and interest among children. The work around children’s rights is part of our strategy and as such we never rest, we constantly want to raise the bar,” she says.
