Johan Dennelind re-elected to GSMA Board

Telia Company President and CEO Johan Dennelind has been re-elected to represent the company on the Board of the global telecoms industry association, GSMA.

Dennelind has been elected to serve another two year term in the association representing nearly 800 operators and almost 300 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, including handset and device makers, software companies, equipment providers and internet companies.

“It’s an honour to once again serve as a Board member; the work done by GSMA provides Telia Company with a vital platform to play its role as part of the global industry and we will continue to push for our industry to deliver more for our consumers, and to change our industry to be the driving force behind digitalization for people, organisations and society,” says Johan Dennelind.

Forum for operators
The GSMA is an important forum for mobile operators and other companies to come together and work on issues such as standardization, advocacy and the future of the sector.

GSMA also hosts Mobile World Congress the leading telecoms and digital event, Mobile World Congress Asia and the recently announced Mobile World Congress Americas.
