Telia Contracting AB sold to WFI
Telia Contracting AB was today sold to Wireless Facilities, Inc. (WFI) (NASDAQ: WFII), a global leader in the design, deployment and management of wireless telecommunications systems. Telia Contracting AB is a subsidiary of Telia AB, the leading telecommunications company in Scandinavia and a provider of mobile communications and broadband/Internet services with operations in 30 countries in North America, Europe and Asia. Under the terms of the acquisition, WFI will pay approximately $7,8 million in cash.
Telia Contracting AB provides a broad range of network management services including the continuous optimization, maintenance and monitoring of wireless networks elements for major telecom operators and equipment suppliers. Telia Contracting AB is engaged in over twenty projects globally, with geographic emphasis in Asia, Scandinavia and South America as well as throughout the European community.
