Telia International Carrier supplies IP Transit and Colocation

Business Serve, one of the UK's most progressive business ISPs, has increased its IP Transit capacity by 150% using connectivity supplied by Telia International Carrier (Telia IC). Business Serve has also taken 350 sq ft of colocation at Telia IC's data centre, located in London's Docklands.
Following aggressive growth both organically and through acquisition, Business Serve has dramatically increased its customer base, in number and in profile, gaining some major corporate ISP customers from Atlantic Telecom following their closure late last year. This has resulted in the need for increased IP capacity to manage the additional ISP traffic Business Serve is handling. Telia IC will direct Business Serve's additional IP traffic over Telia's wholly-owned IP network, TeliaNet, which ensures security and reliability, enabling Business Serve to maintain their own high service levels.
Tim Longton, operations director of Business Serve said "In the ISP industry, quality of service is the single most important factor for success. Our acquisition of Atlantic brought with it some very large corporate customers and it is now more crucial than ever that our transit and colocation services are 100 percent reliable. Having taken IP Transit from Telia in the past, we know we can rely on the company to deliver to the highest standard, and on time."
Business Serve last week moved their entire colocation facility from Harbour Exchange, acquired as part of the Atlantic Telecom deal, to Telia IC's facility in London.
"I was extremely impressed with Telia IC's facility. It represents the greatest level of security I have seen and the facilities are absolutely world-class. We have already migrated some of our top tier customers to the new facility and look forward to helping Telia IC fill its facility as we continue to grow as a business," he continued.
Daniel Pope, IP sales manager at Telia International Carrier (UK) said "We have been working with Business Serve for some years and it has been fascinating to watch their progression. Their rapid growth has demanded a speedy and flexible approach from us, and the fact that they've come back to us for further IP Transit as well as colocation demonstrates their faith in Telia IC's commitment to their business. We look forward to continuing this relationship."
Business Serve now offers ISP customers ADSL, leased line and dial services, and companies can take colocation services from simple space all the way up to managed services and dedicated servers.
