TeliaSonera Denmark aims to win new fixed-line customers
With its Telia Fritid flatrate product, TeliaSonera Denmark has launched a product, which appeals to the private consumer's desire for simple, comprehensible fixed-line telephony. TeliaSonera Denmark is now implementing an comprehensive market push aimed at attracting new Telia Fritid fixed-line customers.
TeliaSonera Denmark is to intensify the fight for private customers in the fixed-line telephony sector in Denmark with a comprehensive campaign to promote Telia Fritid, TeliaSonera Denmark's flatrate product which is meeting a wish among consumers for simple, comprehensible fixed-line telephony. Today marks the start of a nationwide Telia Fritid advertising campaign covering TV, print, outdoor, Internet and other media.
Telia Fritid had its market launch in late October 2003.
Peter Bredgaard, managing director, Telia Networks continues: "In less than three months we have gained a very satisfying number of new fixed-line customers via Telia Fritid. We take this is a clear indication that with Telia Fritid we have achieved our goal of giving customers the added value which makes it attractive for them to change fixed-line supplier.
"Against this positive background we are now aiming to intensify the fight to win private fixed-line customers. This year we will be making a concerted effort to achieve a greater share of the fixed-line market - and Telia Fritid is an important weapon in this fight. I believe that our concept of flatrate telephony constitutes a very attractive parameter for customers and we will do everything we can to fully exploit the competitive advantage this gives us."
With Telia Fritid, for a fixed price of DKK 149 per month the customer can make unlimited fixed-line domestic phone calls to other fixed-line subscribers between 6.00 pm and 8.00 am, as well as all weekend and on national holidays. Calls at other times and to other types of tele services, such as mobiles, international calls, special-rate calls to numbers starting with 70 and 90, and Internet/data connections are charged at Telia's normal prices.
