Microsoft - How to transform into a digital organization using IoT

Mathias Ekman - Industry Solution Executive, Microsoft

Over the past 12 months, the industry conversation around IoT has moved from “Is this really possible?” to “How quickly can I get started?” A recent survey found that one-third of businesses have already launched an IoT solution, while another 43 percent are planning to deploy IoT in the coming year. We will in this session show and inspire how customer and partners are unlocking unprecedented insights and new ways of delivering values within the healthcare sector using the IoT-paradigm shift.

HERE - Location, at the very heart of IoT

David Eybert-Berard, Managing Director at HERE Sweden

In a connected IoT world where devices and objects are often mobile, location is paramount for decision-making and forms a crucial part of many IoT use cases. In this presentation, HERE will describe the fundamentals of ‘location IoT’ and how we are working with development partners in the areas of mobility, tracking and smart cities to build IoT solutions which optimise mobility, reduce environmental impact, increase economic viability and improve quality of life.

Cisco - Energy, the cross vertical X factor of IOT

Henrik Vikberg, Excecutive Advisor Manufacturing practice at EMEAR Cisco

Energy or energy consumption plays a key role in many IOT applications. Regardless If we´re talking about manufacturing, smart grid, smart cities or transportation, energy or energy loss is key component and needs to be monitored, controlled and managed. Find out more how and why by participating in Beneficial IOT breakout session.

Intel and selected partners - IoT in Buildings and Industry solutions drives sustainability and business value - concrete examples

Johan Falk, Head of Intel IoT Ignition Lab

Peter Andersson, CEO Pythagoras

Peter Regio, CEO Flowscape

Lars Ramfeldt, CEO Yanzi

Rickard Fristedt, Senior Business Development Manager  IoT Dell

The what question: WWF just announced their Living Planet Report describing how the human pressure on the planet has been increasing exponentially driving climate change,  deforestation and life extinction. The curves must shift downwards and the ICT industry has an  opportunity to drive IoT solutions which enables BOTH increased business - societal value AND decreased ecological foot-print simultaneously – which is game-changing.

The how question: To enable a mass-market, the industry will move from vertical lock-in solutions towards secure, horizontal, IP-based, standardized solutions applying Software Defined Architecture (SDI) at the Edge, and central/edge distribution of analytics.   This enables efficient standard hardware and continuous  software-driven innovation,  from cloud to edge. New mobile network technologies such as NB-IoT will also enable new usage models

We will highlight concrete examples together with some of our partners:

IoT Office Solution with Flowscape, Pythagoras and Yanzi Networks.

IoT Industry Solution with Dell and Axxelerate

IoT Mobile Network solution with Gemalto
