– Working together as an industry to promote important sustainability issues and have them form part of the overall strategy for developing the business going forward is of key importance. TeliaSonera is already a part of the Telecommunications Industry Dialogue, and in GeSI we aim to participate in several projects which have a clear impact on our business, says Eija Pitkänen, Head of Sustainability at TeliaSonera.
TeliaSonera aims to participate in projects involving e.g. supply chain management, energy efficiency, e-waste, human rights, stakeholder engagement, and climate change.
Eileen Berntsson Ethics and Compliance Officer , 3rd party management, will be leading the supply chain project, and the conflict mineral work and helping to coordinate the e-waste work of TeliaSonera.
