Breaking ground on connected healthcare

Mobile World Congress is fast approaching and TeliaSonera will participate with the focus on healthcare initiatives that is now taking off as well new insights about how IoT will impact us as individuals. We will also discuss the future of our mobile networks, including TeliaSonera’s view on 5G.

On Tuesday March 3rd a press event will take place with the following content:

  • An updated strategic agenda to shape a new generation telco TeliaSonera is undergoing a huge transformation into a new generation telco. Hélène Barnekow, Chief Commercial Officer at TeliaSonera will talk about the new strategy and how the company is working to develop its services to meet changing customer needs.
  • Transforming healthcare with technology – breaking ground in Sweden.
    Societies are under pressure to offer qualitative and cost efficient healthcare to an aging population.  Niklas Sundler, Head of TeliaSonera’s Swedish healthcare and a former CIO believes more than half of the country’s households will be connected to digital healthcare services in around five years. He will discuss the challenges and opportunities of this emerging market.
  • IoT from a user perspective – exploring the drivers and effects of smart homes, connected vehicles and the digitalization of healthcare
    The new edition of the Connected Things report is hot off the presses and will be released during the event. Hans Dahlberg, Head of TeliaSonera Global M2M Services, will share new unique insights from the report about how IoT and M2M might impact individuals in three different areas of Nordic societies: smart homes, connected vehicles and the digitalization of healthcare. The report is coauthored by global consultancy firm Arthur D. Little.
  • The future of mobile networks
    Allan Kock, Director Radio Network at Group Technology, TeliaSonera, will talk about how growing demand for new types of mobile applications with superior user experience is transforming how TeliaSonera develops and delivers services across mobile and fixed networks, now and into the 5G era.
