Telia sells Direct Response Services (DRS) to SNT Group N V

Telia is continuing to streamline its operations. Today DRS, a provider of telemarketing, direct marketing and contact centre services, was sold to SNT Group N.V. The purchase price is SEK 101 million. Telia will record a capital gain of approximately SEK 55 million on the divestment.
DRS has been a provider of telemarketing, direct marketing and contact centre services since 1995 and has over 1 200 employees in more than seven locations in Sweden (3), Norway (2), Denmark (1) and Finland (1). The company has a solid portfolio of over 100 clients. In 2000, DRS had a consolidated turnover of SEK 320 million.
SNT Group N.V., one of the fastest growing pan-European providers of customer contact services, has been listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange since March 2000. SNT participates in the development of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) concepts for clients. SNT has over 5 500 employees in 26 branches in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and, through the acquisition of DRS, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.

Telia has previously divested or broadened the ownership of the following units: In Good Company AB, Telia Trading AB, , Telia Kompetens, Svefo AB, Combinator IT AB, Telia Academy AB, Telia Contracting, Smålandsbörsen Data AB, Telia System & Service A/S, Altitun, Starman Kabeltelevisioone AS and Eniro AB.
