TeliaSonera Finland Oyj and Metsähallitus have signed a 4-year agreement on an extensive service entity. The agreement covers the provision of basic information technology and remote management of mobile devices. The value of the agreement is about eight million euros.
The agreement reinforces the partnership between Sonera and Metsähallitus, expanding the cooperation to new areas. Service related to basic IT will be developed based on the cooperation agreement. End-to-end measurement is used to measure and verify seamless interoperability of all the services included in the service entity delivered.
“Sonera’s service offer was the most extensive one and best met our needs for the 4-year period. Quality is in focus, and the new solution both improves it and makes it easier to measure,” says Markku Palo, CIO of Metsähallitus. “In the tendering competition, we utilized the competitive dialogue procedure according to the new Act on Public Contracts.”
“In central government, this customer account is the one with the largest service portfolio. Improving the end-user’s user experience and the availability of our services is the essence of the agreement,” says Jouni Mustonen, Sales Manager of TeliaSonera Finland.
