TeliaSonera Finland Oyj develops partner cooperation by signing agreements on sales cooperation with two regional telephone companies of the Finnet Group. According to the agreements, the new partners will sell Sonera’s mobile services to consumer and business customers. This enables the regional companies to diversify their service offering, while Sonera strengthens its sales force in these regions.
The first sales partnership agreements on Sonera’s mobile services were signed with PPO Palvelut Oy, a subsidiary of Pohjanmaan Puhelin Oy, and MPY Palvelut Oy of the Mikkelin Puhelin Oyj Group.
The agreements are part of a wider project Sonera has launched to develop its cooperation with partners. The agreements allow Sonera’s sales partners to meet their customers’ needs with Sonera mobile services. In addition to its extensive product portfolio, Sonera will provide its partners with tools and operating models that promote efficient sales operations and with marketing support. Sonera will also provide any necessary induction and training to its partners’ sales personnel.
“We intend to proceed persistently on the customer front, in line with our chosen strategy. These agreements with regionally strong players with long traditions will strengthen Sonera’s regional presence and bring Sonera’s services within the reach of a growing number of customers in these regions,” says Batu Karasar, Senior Vice President of TeliaSonera Business Services Finland.
