It is not only part of our responsibility as a company towards our employees. We believe that more diverse teams and an inclusive environment boosts engagement, innovation and performance, enriching our business and our culture. In short: diversity and inclusion makes work more fun and Telia a better company. We are committed to achieve gender balance (50/50) in our Extended Leadership Team (which includes members of the General Executive Management) by 2025. We are also implementing measures to address a broader set of diversity and inclusion dimensions.

Some of the ways we are building a culture of diversity and inclusion include:

Employee engagement: Increasing awareness on the importance of diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity, through training to address unconscious bias and by supporting employee network groups such as Women in Telia and Friends in Sweden and Diversity Networks in Lithuania and Norway.

Processes: Eliminating bias and integrating diversity and inclusion perspectives into processes such as recruitment and performance evaluation.

Programs and initiatives: Participation in local Diversity Charters in many of our markets, and supporting and participating in Pride events.
