"Taking care of business”

Say hello to Kajsa Johansen who works as a Customer Advisor at Telia in Luleå, Sweden. This young woman is solid as a rock and has gone from taking care of customers to be responsible for educating, training and coaching new people in her team.

“When I finished school, I wasn’t interested in travelling or taking a year off – I wanted a job straight away. And I wanted a job where I could learn, grow and achieve great things. This is why Telia was a natural choice for me. I was recommended the job at their customer service by a friend. He knew that I was looking for a job where I could grow and achieve great things. And he was right, I am taking on bigger and bigger responsibilities all the time. One example is my involvement in training. Alongside my job as a Customer Advisor, I am leading an education for newcomers in our staff. This is a way for me to help my co-workers develop, grow and reach their targets – and of course be better prepared to give our customers the best possible service.”

“A cool thing about working here, is that I do a lot of different things. But in the end, everything I do is about digitalize our customers lives. And I do this in many different ways – every week, every day and every call is about guiding someone to find more joy and use of telecom and technology.”

“It’s easy to enjoy work here, just entering this fantastic office space, makes me happy. And my leaders are really good at coaching us – and I need that. To me, even talking to customers was a little bit scary in the beginning. But with the right coaching, training and a great set of tools, I have overcome my fears, and now I am nominated as Salesperson of the year.”

“When I am not at work, I love to take my snowmobile on long trips in the great outdoors. The speed and power are exciting, and I always push myself to take this activity to the next level. It is really here, out in the wilderness, that I get new energy to be my best at work. And with my snowmobile, I can keep on exploring the world, and still be close to my beloved hometown, Luleå, Sweden.”
