Ahti Martikainen appointed as Vice President of Communications at TeliaSonera Finland

Ahti Martikainen (46 years), M.A., has been appointed as Vice President of Communications and member of the Management Team at TeliaSonera Finland as from August 1, 2006. He joins the company from Alma Media, where he has served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and IR. Martikainen has been responsible for the communications of Alma Media and its predecessor Aamulehti-yhtymä since 1995. Before that he served, for example, as Communications Manager at Kansallis-Osake-Pankki. He will report on his areas of responsibility to Juho Lipsanen, President of TeliaSonera Finland.
